No Upcoming Deadlines in Next 30 Days
Tax sale schedules are released by municipalities months in advance. Check back weekly or set up alerts to get notified as soon as new deadlines are published.
How to Prepare for Closing-Soon Properties
Before the Deadline
- 1. Order a title search immediately — processing takes 3–5 business days
- 2. Call the municipality to confirm the tender is still active and verify the upset price
- 3. Check zoning bylaws for your intended use of the property
- 4. Research comparable sales to set your maximum bid — never bid emotionally
- 5. Prepare your certified cheque or bank draft as required by the municipality
Submission Tips
- ! Sealed tenders must arrive before the deadline — late bids are rejected
- ! Include all required documents: bid form, certified cheque, photo ID
- ! Send by registered mail or courier — keep your tracking receipt
- ! Some municipalities accept in-person drop-off — call to confirm
- ! Your cheque deposit is forfeited if you win and fail to complete the purchase
Tax sale properties closing soon in Canada. These listings have bid deadlines within the next 30 days. Canadian tax sales use sealed tenders (Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI) or live auctions (BC, Alberta, Quebec, Saskatchewan). Before bidding: order a title search, confirm road access, check zoning, assess environmental risk, and set a maximum bid. Sealed tenders must be received before the deadline — late bids are always rejected.
