taxsaleproperty.ca aggregates publicly available tax sale property listings from Canadian municipal and provincial government sources. The Service provides listing discovery, search, filtering, saved searches, and email alerts. Listing data is sourced from official government publications and is provided for informational purposes only.
3. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to ensure listing accuracy, we do not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any listing. Tax sale information changes rapidly. Always verify all details directly with the relevant municipality before bidding on any property. taxsaleproperty.ca is not responsible for errors or omissions in listing data.
4. Not Legal or Investment Advice
Nothing on this Service constitutes legal, financial, investment, or real estate advice. Tax sale investing involves significant risk. Consult a qualified real estate lawyer and financial advisor before bidding on any property. We are an information aggregator, not a licensed real estate brokerage.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription ("Investor Plan"). Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except as required by applicable law.
6. Free Trial
New accounts may be offered a free trial of the Investor Plan. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically renew at the listed rate unless you cancel beforehand. No charges are made during the trial period.
7. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account with others. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not: scrape or systematically download listing data; resell or redistribute our content; attempt to access the Service by automated means beyond personal use; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code on taxsaleproperty.ca is owned by or licensed to us. Listing data sourced from government publications is in the public domain; our enrichment, presentation, and analysis thereof are proprietary.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, taxsaleproperty.ca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any tax sale transaction. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
